Pastors Walt and Sharron Scott, Let Go and Soar Ministries and
The Center For Christian Living, and Co-Chairs of Trinity Hope House

Pastor Walt Scott was born in Weisbaden Germany, and emigrated with his family when he was 2 years old. His father was in the US Army. They settled in his father's home town in Iowa. He joined the US Navy, and served in Viet Nam. He eventually ended up in Southern California where he and Sharron met. He has a BS degree in business administration. He has 3 adult children. Walt's journey with the Lord which began at the age of 13, is chronicled in his latest book, "We CAN Love."
Pastor Sharron Scott was born and raised in Southern California. She attended CSU Fullerton as a linguistics and communications major. She has 3 adult children. She is currently serving as worship leader for the ministry.
Together Walt and Sharron have 13 1/2 grandchildren as of 2018 (#14 is due in Jan. 2019!). In 2002 they moved from Southern California to Weaverville California. They fell in love with the community and started Let Go and Soar Ministries in 2008 to serve the people of Trinity County. They were ordained as pastors by a non-denominational ministry in 2013. They have a passion for seeing unity in the body of Christ, bringing healing to their community, the nation and the world.
In 2014 They stepped out in obedience to God and formed "The Center for Christian Living," which houses the ministry. It is now located in the back of their property in Weaverville.
Most recently they spearheaded the "Trinity Hope House Project" for a homeless shelter here in Weaverville. It is a huge undertaking, but they are believing in God for the people and the funds to make it happen!
They believe God has called them to help answer the prayer of Jesus in John 17:20-26. They believe in stepping out in obedience wherever, whenever and whatever God calls them to do. They believe what their ministry motto says: "God Won't Drive A Parked Car!"
